David has written, produced, and broadcast around 1200 stories, mostly articles and essays but also segments for television and radio and a few documentaries. He was a special correspondent and producer for ABC News Nightlines and 20/20 and was a longtime commentator and special correspondent for National Public Radio. He is still a Chief Correspondent for BioTech Nation on NPR Talk that originates at KQED in San Francisco, the local NPR affiliate. He also has appeared on dozens of podcasts and is developing a podcast in conjunction with his Futures column.
